Is there a "Conservative" argument against abortion?

Some of you may have already read Christopher Tollefsen's post, A Conservative Argument Against Abortion?, on Right Reason.  I much appreciated his candor, but most especially his capturing of some unforgettable positions taken by pro-lifers.  I recommend it.

Senator Bill Frist: " 'I believe human life begins at conception,' he is quoted as saying.  'I also believe that embryonic stem cell research should be encouraged and supported.' "

Besides dividing the Republican party more, the Senator's phrasing suggests that life's beginning at conception is a belief; it's not.  Life doesn't begin at conception, it's already present at conception.  Human life begins at conception.
